Cast Questions

In a few sentences, tell us your current life situation.
I'm a junior hoping to maybe graduate on time from BYU. Afterwards it’s off to L.A. for grad school at USC (once again hopefully) in Music for Film and Television Arts.

What has been your favorite on stage role and why?
I really loved playing Joseph.  It was fun to do a show with people I've known all my life.  Plus playing a dramatic character was a welcome change from the comedy you get used to.

What's the funniest thing that has happened to you on stage?
Anything I would write here would probably be censored... so I'm just going to skip this one...

Who is your biggest fan?
I'm my own biggest fan.  I DON'T NEED ANY OF YOU! Also, I'll be surprised if my family shows up so that's out the window.

What’s your favorite thing about Pickleville?
It has the word "pickle" in it.  I think that's hilarious.

If you could have one magical power, what would it be?
I would be able to spontaneously produce socks from my shirtsleeves.  Mostly because that happened to me once, and I felt gratified.  It would be good to feel that way all of the time, don't you think?

What's your favorite food?
I don't normally eat.  But when I do I like sushi. I just wish it were cheaper.  I guess college students aren’t their target customers.

What's your favorite Pickle Pete snow cone flavor?
Sushi flavored snow cone.  It's gonna be big.  Trust me.

What's your favorite place you've traveled?
My senior year of high school, the choir toured New York City.  I had always wanted to go there, and it was great to get to do it with all of my closest friends.  We got to see a show on Broadway, and even got to clinic with some cast members.  That, combined with the sweet street performers and subway rides, made for the greatest vacation ever.

Tell us something about your family.
I have a medium sized family, or at least it feels that way in Utah.  There are 6 of us total, parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother.  We're all pretty close in age so we still keep in good contact.

Do you have any secret talents?
I do editing and special effects for films every now and again.  I can make someone get struck by lighting and explode.  It's pretty violent.  Violently awesome.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
Alive... Also, I want to write film scores. I have been composing and arranging music since I was 6 years old, so it's kind of always been the direction I wanted to take.

Tell us something else people would be interested to know about you.
I'm actually 23 years old, and not 17 as most would assume.  I try to keep a little facial hair on to assert this, but it's banned where I'm headed. :(
