Well hi there! Abby is thrilled to be returning to Bear Lake for her third summer at Pickleville Playhouse! A Utah Native, Abby loves performing so close to home. Abby just finished her fourth year in Snow College's music program and looks forward to graduating next Spring with a Bachelor in Music with an emphasis in Commercial Music. Musical theatre has always been and always will be her true love. When she's not performing, Abby loves to bake with flowers, find out your zodiac sign, and drink tea with friends. She's so excited to see everyone this summer and to be able to tell stories and create art with wonderful people!

Ally is so exciting to be joining the Pickleville family for the first time this summer! Ally has been busy the past two years being a member of the BYU Young Ambassadors! She recently got back from their South Korea Tour and loved performing for the South Korean people! Ally is currently a senior in BYU’s Music Dance Theatre BFA. She is originally from El Dorado Hills, California and is a firm believer that the West Coast is the best coast! (she apologizes to all Easy Coast audiences… big love) Ally also enjoys late night runs to Sev (7/11) and binging kdramas! She hopes you enjoy the show and come back soon!

Ally is ecstatic to have the opportunity to play the piano at Pickleville for the first time this summer! During the school year, you can find her studying piano (or chatting with her friends in the hallway..) at Weber State University. When Ally's not practicing, she loves composing and arranging music. When there's even extra time, Ally's life goal at the moment is to spend an entire day at the ocean. Pretty ambitious for someone that lives in Utah..

Betsy is absolutely thrilled to be making her Pickleville debut! She is from Carmel, Indiana, and just earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from Ball State University. A fun fact about Betsy is that she actually gets to share the stage this summer with her fiancé Jake Mickel, who she got engaged to in April. When she’s not on stage, Betsy loves playing Mario Party, going out for coffee, eating charcuterie, and watching Gilmore Girls. Philippians 4:6-7.

Eliza feels delighted making her Pickleville debut with her sweet hubby. She and Taylor are loving living the bohemian life traveling in their RV with their five fur babies. Though it’s been a few years since Eliza’s been on the stage, she is no stranger to musical theatre. She received her BFA from Southern Utah University but is currently enjoying working with children as an ABA Therapist.

Ella Joy Matthews is thrilled to be part of the Pickleville Playhouse family this summer, playing the role of Chip in Beauty and the Beast. She lives with her family in North Logan, Utah and just completed the fourth grade at North Park Elementary. Her favorite subjects were writing and beating the boys at Nine-Square. Ella is an avid reader and loves to sing, play the piano and dance. When not on stage this summer, you can find Ella playing softball with her Blue Sox teammates or playing with her black lab wonder puppy named Jessie.

Jake Mickel is a recent graduate of Ball State University's musical theatre program. With his B.F.A. firmly in his clutches, Jake is thrilled to be joining Pickleville's team for the second time. In his spare time Jake loves songwriting, tap dancing unconsciously, playing his guitar (and missing playing the drums), playing DnD with his friends, and getting coffee with his wonderful partner Betsy. Judith began her performing career earlier this year as a Cheerleader in Dear Edwina. She loves to cook, do crafts, fish with grandpa (once caught a 17-incher!), garden, and play soccer. But what she loves most is to look after and play with her pet bunny, Snowflake.

She's back! Kenzie feels so lucky to be spending another summer doing what she loves, in the place that she loves the most. She has been performing on the Pickleville stage since she was a little girl, and anytime she wasn't on stage, she was right in the wings watching her older siblings shine. Kenzie is excited to take on the job of director this summer and create something truly magical with such an incredible cast and crew of Beauty and The Beast. Logan is thrilled to be back at Pickleville for his third summer! He works as a choir and theatre teacher, plays piano for various events throughout Northern Utah, and teaches private voice. He has written and premiered a full length musical, Hamartia, as well as composed various music for choirs, theatre companies, a cappella groups, orchestras, and solo artists. Logan loves researching music, and is especially interested in popular music form, teaching beginning harmony, and music’s influence on culture. He can play most instruments and loves performing and experiencing music in any capacity.

Matthew is so excited to be making his Pickleville debut this summer! He is a senior at Southern Utah University where he is pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance. This year he appeared in SUU's productions playing Rapunzel's Prince in Into the Woods, and Marvin in Falsettos. Matthew also played Romeo in Juliet & Romeo, a new musical by Paul Gordon and Curtis Moore. Matthew was born in Illinois, but has spent the majority of his life in Utah. Enjoy the show!

Natalie is a recent graduate of the BFA Musical Theatre program at Indiana University, and is thrilled to be making her Pickleville Playhouse debut! Earlier this year, Natalie appeared as Wendla in Spring Awakening at IU, as well as Suky in IU Theatre’s production of The Threepenny Opera. Natalie also appeared as Hannah in the premiere production of Modern, a new musical by Selda Sahin & Derek Gregor, at Bloomington Playwrights Project! Natalie is so excited to be spending her summer at Pickleville, and is looking forward to whatever's next in store! Natalie is from Arlington Heights, IL.

Nathan Jones is thrilled to be playing the role of Maurice here at Pickleville Playhouse. Seven years ago, he auditioned for his first musical at Four Seasons Theatre Company in Cache Valley and has been hooked on performing ever since. Nathan lives in Paradise, Utah with his loving family. He studied Biochemistry at Utah State University and works in the supplement industry to help us get our daily vitamins and minerals. Nathan is excited to be back for his fourth season at Pickleville. After dropping out of clown college he decided that it was time to do some real soul searching to find himself. He ended up here, at Pickleville Playhouse, where he has discovered that he doesn't need clown college to make a fool of himself. He just needs a stage and people to laugh at him. In truth, he is very happy and excited for this opportunity and for another summer at Pickleville after spending a few years away. Enjoy the shenanigans. Ryan is thrilled to be joining Pickleville Playhouse for the summer. Before the pandemic, he was days away from opening as another Gaston, Gaston Lachaille in Gigi as part of the Live at Lynn series. Favorite credits include Durdles in the Mystery of Edwin Drood, Acaste in School For Lies and Robert Mohr in readings of the new musical White Rose. He spent the past year as a tour guide at the beautiful Winchester Mystery House in his hometown of San Jose, California. Ryan is a proud graduate of the University of Miami with a BFA in Musical Theatre.

If you catch him in his free time, he's probably watching Doctor Who.

Peyton is beyond excited to be returning for another amazing season with Pickleville! He was most recently seen as John Darling in Peter Pan last summer, as well as stage managing the rest of the 2021 productions. He is a proud graduate of Weber State University where he received a Bachelors Degree in Musical Theatre. Peyton is quite busy around these parts, but you can almost always find him listening to true-crime podcasts or drinking way too much Dr Pepper.

Sue is a Bear Lake native who grew up in Paris,ID. She studied Clothing and Textiles at BYU from 1973-76. She is the mother of 5 and Gma to 19. She has been involved in sewing professionally for 25+ years. She enjoys the creativity and challenge that sewing for the Playhouse brings. She has also sewn Specialty Gowns including wedding gowns for friends, family, and clients, especially those who are hard to fit. She enjoys tending to her rose bushes, reading and watching her fav teams ( Jazz and Cubs ) play ball.

Andrea has been involved with Pickleville since its beginning. She recently returned to the stage after a 30 year hiatus, performing alongside her kids and grandson as Grandma, in our last two renditions of The Addams Family. Andrea remembers peeling bark off of the logs that were used to build the theater and later nailing on the tin roof of the cookout while 9 months pregnant with Sharli, her 3rd child. When not working on things at Pickleville, she is busy loving kids and grandkids.

It’s been some amazing times to be a part of the visual department of Pickleville Playhouse for over 17 years. Bodie currently works full time at his own graphic/web/video/etc. design business (Bodwa Productions) he started 19 years ago. Every day is an exciting day! Bodie is happily married to his sweet better half and currently lives in Cedar City, UT. He is the father of 3 crazy fun kids, and has the privilege of being a bonus dad to two additional ones. He enjoys going to Disneyland with his family or a solving any fun, creative escape rooms they can find! If someone forces him, he will eat an occasional maple bar or 3.

Is it really summer already? Time flies when you're having fun! Since closing Addams Family last fall, Derek has spent most of his free time writing the show you may be about to see. He also enjoys traveling the world with his now family of four (25 countries and counting) and doing silly dances on Instagram with his talented wife, Whitley. Jordan's involvement this summer is happening while he's living in Brooklyn! Jordan is excited to still get to play around with his fellow Picklevillagers in the form of pitching jokes as script advisor from across the country for 'New Sheriff in Town'. He just directed a short play for the New York Theater Festival (Earl Grey & Green written by Ty-Gabriel Jones, another PVP alum!) and is happily recommending his favorite items to customers at the Trader Joe's he works at in Downtown Brooklyn.

Sharli is pumped to be back for another season, this time choreographing along side her little sister, Kenzie, who is making her directorial debut!  She has had her hand in almost every Pickleville production as the head choreographer for the past 15+ years. She LOVES working with her siblings, creating magical stories and awesome entertainment for other families to enjoy together. Sharli and her husband Andy recently opened up a group fitness studio called The Studio in Logan, Utah. They have four beautiful daughters and a dog named Penny!

Hobbies include: bugging her husband, kissing her babies, baking treats, wrestling her puppy, traveling, and dancing awkwardly in public.
